Since 2008, professor Gilles-Eric SERALINI and his team have secretly been conducting a series of tests on the corn NK603 which is produced by Monsanto. The first results are alarming and have cast a shadow on the innocuousness of genetically modified products in general. This independent study, unique due to its amplitude and duration, has benefited from exceptional technical and financial means. Over a two year period, we filmed its progress in its entirety.

Gilles-Eric SERALINI tells us about the origins of his research, the methods that were used, the difficulties encountered, the financing and the necessary element of secrecy that surrounded his laboratory.
